01 Overview
This Refund Policy applies to services purchased directly through the BitsServer IT Lab website or under a signed service agreement. Because our services are largely custom technical work, refund eligibility varies by engagement type, as described below.
02 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered where:
- A service has not yet commenced and is cancelled within the timeframe specified in your agreement
- We are unable to deliver a service due to reasons within our control
- A recurring service (such as hosting) is cancelled before the next billing cycle, in which case unused prepaid time may be refunded on a pro-rata basis where applicable
03 Non-Refundable Services
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Work already performed or delivered, including partial project milestones
- Custom development, design, or consulting hours already billed
- Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf, such as domain registrations or licenses
- Setup or onboarding fees, unless otherwise stated in your agreement
04 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us with your invoice number, the service in question, and the reason for your request. We review each request individually against the terms of the applicable service agreement.
05 Processing Time
Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days and returned via the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
06 Subscription Cancellations
Recurring services can be cancelled at any time to prevent future billing. Cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless required by law or your service agreement.
07 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy periodically. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs that transaction unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
